At first i was skeptical due to some fake negative reviews I read online. I saw DotBlock was running a 30 day trial for $1.00 and decided it was worth any risk. Customer service sent me an email back telling me i was good to start before i was able to get into my inbox.

The customer service is AMAZING! I was totally clueless as to what a VPS was and the differences between VPS and Dedicated. The rep assisted me with information, setup and walked me thru everything. The customer service here is amazing and I WILL be putting a banner on my website.

The only time I experienced downtime was when my server was getting flooded. They can be quite accommodating with payments also, as I have had to make a late payment before.

In my 15 years of having online presences, I have never experienced the kind of quality, support and downright friendliness that DotBlock’s team of professionals offer.
I have a heavily trafficked blog that has close to 8,000 articles, which is poised to grow aggressively over the next few months with more writers coming on board and some media attention coming in. Over the past 2 years of unprecedented growth with that site, server after server crashed. If there was a traffic spike, I’d get shut down for abuse with no warning whatsoever. The latest cloud hosting I was using before Dot Block had continual mySQL problems, causing days of downtime because the databases were inaccessible.
Rather than the “Ah, shucks, guess you’ll need to find another host” attitudes from other providers, DotBlock charged to the rescue when I submitted a support ticket about a mySQL table crash and fixed it without my asking. They also quickly added some more blocks when I saw that I needed a bit more power and asked to upgrade. During traffic spikes of a hit or so a second, the server did not crash and delivered content to visitors quickly.
Migrating to DotBlock was a breeze, as the techs did the work.
Generally, hosting companies are really, really nice when you’re about to buy and are helpful for the first week or so, and then they seem to take your business for granted. DotBlock is entirely different — they’re friendly, personable and helpful at the sales point and then afterward. My sense is that they value their customers.
The ability to add more blocks is a godsend, particularly for growing web presences.
I would highly recommend DotBlock to anyone, newbie or pro. Quite frankly, I am seriously thinking about moving all of my web business to DotBlock.
